 What is Mokum Mail v6.0?MM is an E-mail checker, an HTML mailing program and a WEB Browser in one! MM gives you the ability to first download only the message headers (unlike other e-mail programs). From here you can easily delete the SPAM. BUT.. you can also send a 'Quick Reply' without even downloading the message to your hard disk! This is great for quick notes you receive that are just reminders: "Honey...Don't forget to buy the cat litter!" Click on the 'Reply' button, type "Yes Dear...I already bought it!", click 'Send' and delete the message from the server... MM warns you of "possible" dangerous attachments spread through E-Mail. Although NOT a virus scanner, you will be warned if a message contains an attachment with a questionable file extension. Think of it as an early warning system. These messages can then be deleted BEFORE you download to your computer. MM has a "Watch" feature, which, when set, allows you to be notified when a specific message arrives; Or, set it to notify when ANY new message arrives. Plain text E-Mails or HTML scripting? MM handles BOTH with ease, giving you the ability to design your own personal theme stationeries with pictures, music files, tables, moving backgrounds, highlighted text, and much much more! MM has both an Inbox and an Outbox. This is especially nice for those on dial-up! Delete your spam and questionable messages, then download or retrieve those you want to the Inbox. Once saved, you are given the option to delete them from your server. Unlike other mailers, they are immediately deleted, once saved, which keeps you from having to re-download them again if you lose your connection. From the Inbox you can view your messages, reply, and send those replies to the Outbox. This can be done while off-line. When ready, you can reconnect and send all replies at once. Does MM have an address book? And does MM keep track of what you have sent? The answer to both questions is YES! You can manually add friends to the address book with preset greetings and goodbye lines OR they are entered automatically when you send a reply. These are then sorted by either Name or E-Mail address. MM has a Log file and when that option is checked, all outgoing mail is kept in a .txt file which can easily be viewed. Would you like to create a stationery with pictures and music and be able to send in such a way that a friend could re-use it in Outlook Express®? Would you like an AOL friend to be able to SEE your creations? Again...With MM the answer is YES, it is possible! MM will let you design to your hearts content and then turn that creation into a .EML file which others can use in OE...OR turn that creation into a .MHT file which, when attached to a plain message, can be sent to an AOL user. They click on the attached file and will be able to view your creation in all it's glory. Does MM have a Help file?? YES...MM has a very extensive and user-friendly help section with instructions for downloading the program, explanations for all functions, and a FAQ'S area. Within MM itself, there are tips and pop-ups when moving the mouse cursor over any function. You just have to check the box for "Tool-Tips"! I know I am forgetting features, BUT you will discover them all when you try this fantastic program yourself!! And why is it called Mokum Mail..?
