This version of the 4M is coming to you from the land of "Fun and Sun"....California!! It is arriving a couple days early because Joop and Tx Char will be visiting Karen and we are not sure of our internet connection on June 1st while we are on the road...in Monterey, Ca!

Free MMF's.
by Joop Blokker

Mid 2006 I introduced the 'MMF' files. 'MMF' simply stands for 'Mokum Mail File'. An MMF file is like a ZIP file: in one and the same MMF file you can store an HTM script and the necessary music and picture files. You do not have to do that yourself; you simply create a pretty message with all the bells and whistles and then you can click on the EXPORT button, which gives you an option to save it as an MMF file.

The beauty of these files is that you can double-click on a file name in Explorer and Mokum Mail starts and loads the file automatically. You only have to type your text and send the message to your friend. In the past year your Fellow Mokum Mail users have created numerous wonderful MMF messages that are all available for free at the MMF Pages -- click to have a look, it's like a walk in an Art Gallery. There are more than 800 MMF's to download for free!

Art, Birds, Birthday, Fall. Fantasy, Flowers, Greetings, Love, Native American, Nature, Pets, Spring, Vacation and 4th Of July are only a few of the many categories that are waiting for you! Besides that, you also can import and use IncrediMail .IMF files - that you have paid for - so your investment will not be lost. If you have an older version of Mokie, the free collection of MMF files alone is worth the upgrade to v5.0 for only US $19.90.

Karen's Info Tip:
by Karen Shirron

10 easy lessons. In this issue I have decided to review a tip provided in Lesson 3 at the Mokum Mail Academy.  Many of you have taken and passed these lessons, but there are lots of you who have not taken advantage of these free personal lessons which help you understand many of the features using MM.

Before I provide you with that tip....let me announce that the next Academy class will get started on June 18th!! Most lessons are geared to the latest version of MM (5.0) so if you have not yet upgraded, this is a perfect time to do so and then go to the Yahoo group and get signed up!  Click Here Now!

Now for the tip..... When you are creating a simple THEME which utilizes a corner graphic or even one that is for the top or bottom that has a background color to it such as this one, you know what a pain it is to try and match the background color in your theme settings.

The solution is to simply ADD the background color number to your graphic file name when you are first creating it.  When you have the background # as part of the name, and go to create your theme, Mokie sees that number as part of the graphic name and AUTOMATICALLY fills in the background color for you.

No more guessing and trial and error on your part!

This is the way my file name looks for the graphic shown...

Three in One...
by Becky Darsey
How many people do you know who are still using Outlook Express to read email, Internet Explorer to view links received in messages, and Notepad to create or modify HTML scripts? Isn't it time to introduce them to the program that can do it all? Mokum Mail bundles the usefulness of three separate programs into one easy-to-use program.

When viewing email messages that contain a webpage link, Mokie will take you there without starting up a different program. When you get ready to compose a new message, even one containing complex scripts, you simply use the HTML editor in the program, or import your scripts from the files you have previously saved. You can save scripts that you receive in messages and you can create your own scripts and save them for future use. How many programs do you have that give you all of the tools you need in one location?

And don't forget our offer to you, our valued registered MM user: Bring us 1 NEW MM User and you will receive a mid-year 2007 version for free. Bring us 2 NEW users and you will also get the official v6.0 on 1/1/2008. Bring us 3....and you will get both of the above as well as any future versions, free for life!

Note: a NEW MM User is a person who does NOT have a registered version of LISA, Fetch-It or Mokum Mail, because they can upgrade for less than half of the regular price. This offer expires on 12/31/2007.

Kind regards,

The Mokum Mail Team:

Joop Blokker, Development.
Karen Shirron, Info & Mokum Academy.
Becky Darsey, Public Relations.
