Mokum Mail - the best of two worlds...
by Joop Blokker

How about that for a Dutch-Texan brag...!
Let me explain what I mean. I learn with my hands and not with my head. I do not get new stuff - such as a new programming language - in my grey cells by merely studying a book, I must have examples, type the code with my 10 little fingers, run the code, type another example, test again and so on. I am sure that I'm not the only one who prefers to learn the 'Hands On' way.

Perhaps you never realized that HTML is a true programming language, the full name is: Hyper Text Markup Language. When you are writing a message e.g. in Outlook Express, you can add a picture, you can make words bold and lots of other things, but "How It's Done" stays hidden under the surface of the O.E. editor.

Of course you can type a quick message in Mokum Mail too; just select a Theme and start typing away... But Mokum Mail offers a way to learn HTML easily: if you want to make a word bold then just high-light it, click on the button and Mokie shows you "How It's Done"! Before you know it, you will learn a number of HTML tags and you will understand what's happening under the hood. Whether you want to send a quick message or write your own scripts, Mokum Mail is the tool for you!

Look Ma! No Hands..!

This time I will tell you about a nifty feature of Mokum Mail that lets you add a name and e-mail address to MM's Address Book without typing one letter!

Suppose you received a message from some one who is not yet in your address book. There may be no reason to reply to that message immediately, but you want to add that person to your address book for writing to her/him at a later moment. Then do this:

Click once on the name in MM Main Window to high-light it.
Click on the Address Book item.
In the Address Book window click on the ADD button and finally on the SAVE button.

That's all there is to it, enjoy!

How about a FREE Update...?
by Becky Darsey
Are you keeping in touch? Do you use e-mail to stay in contact with family and friends? You already know the power of Mokum Mail, and you also know how easy it is to use. Why not share Mokie with those you keep in touch with the most?

Many of us use e-mail to keep up with friends and family, sending pictures, getting updates on vacation plans, health issues, or just the day-to-day happenings of those we care about. We all use Mokie to create meaningful messages to send on to those people, but how many of us receive our messages FROM Mokie? Aren't you just as special as the people you share with? Shouldn't you be receiving wonderful creations in return for all you send? You have to spread the word and let people know that Mokum Mail is the absolute best way to send and receive messages.

Don't forget that you also get the added bonus of the current Mokum Mail promotion if you refer new Mokie users: Note: a NEW MM User is a person who does NOT have a registered version of LISA, Fetch-It or Mokum Mail, because they can upgrade for less than half of the regular price. This offer expires on 12/31/2007.

Kind regards,
