Why not show off a little bit...?
by Joop Blokker
Often you want your friends or customers to click on an URL or an e-mail address in a message or a web page. Here is a little script that you can place anywhere in your message. It makes the link stand out clearly when the mouse cursor is moved over it. It's a real eye-catcher... just try it :-)

Reminder!
by Karen Shirron
How many times do you write yourself various appt reminders on your wall calendar and then neglect to pay attention to them after the fact?? IF you are anything like me, you might want to take advantage of the Kalendar companion program you have right at your finger tips within Mokum Mail!!
"UK's Kalender" is a MS Windows program intended to remind you of upcoming events and to do's. There are several views for your dates that are organized similar to a calendar sheet. Dates and appointments can be entered into the calendar via an input form. You can enter a forewarn time, so long as "UK's Kalender" is running in the background you'll be reminded of your dates as soon as the forewarn time is reached.
A click on the little

button will open the program where you can set and use it in which ever way you might choose. You can access this from any of MM's windows...

Independent from the calendar function there is also a to do list where you can enter tasks with a deadline and a forewarn time. If the forewarn time is reached, "UK's Kalender" will inform you of the due tasks with symbols and colors.
This program is installed in the sub-folder ..\CALENDAR of the folder where you installed Mokum Mail.
TIP: If using the program, be sure to include it in your start-up!

Self-willed... Who, Mokie??? ;-)
by Becky Darsey
Self-willed, but safe mailing....is the title of Jan (say Yahnn) Roza's FULL PAGE review in the excellent Dutch magazine
PC Active . For those of us who do not speak (or read) Dutch, we will have to rely on this translation, but for those of us who use Mokum Mail, we know exactly what it means!
The first time you open the program, it may seem a bit daunting, but once you begin using it, you are hooked. You are given safety in such features as downloading headers only, in order to delete any messages that may contain harmful files. You also receive warnings of dangerous file types, and have the ability to blacklist any addresses known to send undesired content.
Once you begin using the themes and MMF's, as well as browsing the internet and developing your own scripts, you become fully aware that Mokie is not only self-willed but also self-sufficient, needing no other programs in order to complete the tasks at hand. You can convert several different units of measurement, import or export files or scripts, find and replace text, as well as use the WYSIWYG editor just as you would any other e-mail program.
You can't go wrong with Mokum Mail, and as Yahnn concludes in his review...
“Mokum Mail has a totally different approach of e-mailing than other programs. At first you have to get used to it, but it results in better safety for sure. This program offers the user almost unlimited features to create/edit messages and the receiver of your e-mail will be often pleasantly surprised and impressed."
