As a child, when I played truant and did not do my piano lessons, my mother used to say: 'If you do not practice, you will NEVER make it to Carnegie Hall..!'
And she was right, I didn't. However, creating the Mokum Mail program (with the help of many Users & Beta Testers) the past ten years was like composing a symphony on my pc keyboard.
It was rewarding to me to see many MokumCafe visitors accept the challenge and start exercising the new features of Mokum Mail v8.0. The Greeting Card Maker is a fun tool as displayed in the recent Halloween messages! Also, the new Light Box feature is an easy addition to show your photos and other pictures in a very special way. If you have the new version 8.0 and you have not tried the new features yet, you are wholeheartedly invited to join in and start tinkering. In the MM Editor Window (full version only), you find the 'WYSIWYG' button...'What You See Is What You Get'. The WYSIWYG-editor is handy for typing text at the ' YOUR TEXT HERE ' part of MMF and other scripts. Some people feel inhibited when typing a message amongst HTML code... Now you have an option! After clicking on the WYSIWYG button, the same message will appear in full glory. A double click in the text box and you are ready to type your message without doing so amongst all the HTML code of the Editor window.
However, if you use Windows VISTA or Windows 7, it is possible that you may get an error message when you start this feature. This is due to an omission in the Vista and Windows 7 operating system, but Microsoft offers a solution. To get your WYSIWYG editor to work, click on the link, download the file and when prompted, click on the RUN button to start installation immediately. The size of the file is only 346 KB.
